Move out day

The last few days have been crazy! I left Disney World which has been my home for the last 6 months. The Disney College program has been one of the most amazing experiences of my life. It was a journey that taught me so much about myself. I am going to miss going to the parks everyday and working for the mouse but my Disney College Program journey would have not been the same without these people right here. Even though Chanelle and Marie aren’t pictures this picture perfectly sums up us as a group! You guys have become my family. We have been through so much together. We have laughed together. We have cried together. We have made so many memories together that will last a lifetime. I am so thankful that I met each and every one of you. Chatham Square 21204 was never quiet with y’all around. I am going to miss all the yelling, laughing, making food at 2am, wine nights, running around he house looking for my Stitches, hugs and kisses when I get home from work, complaining about our days, walking into each others rooms unannounced and most importantly seeing you guys every day. I’m going to miss yelling at Marc to do stuff, Nicole’s laugh and crazy voices, talking to Paige about life every night before bed, Karishma’s random hugs and talking about our shopping addictions, Amelia and I just screaming at each other and running around the apartment acting like children everyday, how cute Marie sounds when she gets mad and Mama Chanelle just being Mama Chanelle haha. I love you guys so much! We will always be a dysfunctional family! ❤️

Move out day

Last day at Disney

On the last day before we left I spent the day at Magic Kingdom with Paige and Karishma. I didn’t take many pictures and it was an interesting day because we were happy to be at the park but we were all also very sad about having to leave this place that had become our home. We were like that until the night time when we went to the Incredibles Dance Party in Tomorrowland. The rest of our roommates met us there and we actually danced and had fun and forgot about all the sadness for awhile. After that all of us watched Celebrate the Magic and Wishes for the last time. It was a very emotional experience for me. I was crying almost the entire time. Disney had become my home. I have made so many memories there in the last 6 months and I did not want it to end. But all good things come to an end and “… I hope that we never loose sight of one thing, it was all started by a mouse!”

Last day at Disney

Saying goodbye to my coworkers was rough. My experience working at Goofy’s was an emotional Rollercoaster but I wouldn’t trade it for the world! I have had the pleasure of working with so many amazing people. Everyone I work with and have worked with over the course of my college program made every day of my college program memorable. My co workers are like a family to me and I will miss them so much! Goodbyes are hard which is why I am not saying goodbye I’m saying see you real soon!

Saying Goodbye to Tower of Terror

Today I said goodbye to my favorite ride and my favorite park. Tower of Terror has been my favorite ride since I got here. I have ridden it more times than I can count! I love the eerie old Hollywood vibe of the ride. And it holds even more of a special place in my heart after I did the backstage tour. I was able to ride it two more times today. I also just walked around the park. Hollywood Studios is my favorite park. I am so inspired by the vibe of the park and all of the theming and architecture. I love just walking around by myself and riding all the rides. Today I rode all of my favorites. I rode Tower of Terror, Rockin Rollercaster, Star Tours and I saw the Frozen Sing Along. I also saw Fantasmic again. I didn’t think I was going to be able to before but I’m glad I got another chance to see it. It was hard to say goodbye to my favorite park but I have made a lot of great memories there that will last a lifetime!

Breakfast with coworkers

Yesterday I went to breakfast with a bunch of my co workers. We went to Olivia’s Cafe in Disneys Old Key West resort. I had banana bread French toast. It was amazing. I’m glad I got to spend time with my co workers outside of work before I have to leave. Although they are part of the new bunch of CPs and we have only been working together for a few months we have all grown so close! I’m definantly going to miss them. 😦

Spending the day with the roomies

Yesterday I got to spend the entire day with my roomies. We started off at Magic Kingdom. We went to breakfast at Crystal Palace and got to meet Pooh and friends! Then we rode rides in Magic Kingdom unroll we got rained out. Then we had dinner at the Polynesian before heading to Epcot. I watched Illuminations for the last them and I got a little emotional because it was my last time in Epcot. We finished off the night by doing the Kitchen Sink at Beaches and cream! I had a great day with my girls and I can’t believe I only have 4 days left here!

Pirate Quest

Last night I did the Pirate Quest in Magic Kingdom. It’s over near the Pirates of the Carribbean ride in Adventureland. There are five different maps you can do. I did them all. You scan your magic band when you get each map. The map directs you to different locations where you then tap your band to activate each point. It was tons of fun and at the end of you complete all the maps you get a fast pass for the ride! Too cool!
